How we started
this journey
Porchplus started on a porch. A simple rental arrangement between friends revealed a bigger problem — landlords had no reliable way to track payments, manage tenants, or understand their property's financial performance. Most were running portfolios from paper receipts and WhatsApp messages.
That observation hardened when we watched a landlord lose an entire year of rent because of poor record-keeping and a tenant dispute he couldn't prove. The money was gone. The relationship was broken. And there was no system to prevent it from happening again.
We built Porchplus to fix that — a platform that gives landlords, property managers, and tenants a shared source of truth. Today Porchplus manages thousands of units across Nigeria and West Africa, handling rent collection, tenant onboarding, maintenance, inspections, financial reporting, and more — all from one dashboard.
